Description

Pure Japanese Matcha – Organic, Smooth, and Packed with Antioxidants

Origin: Japan

Sourced from a small artisan garden in Shizuoka Prefecture, our organic Japanese Matcha is a vibrant green powerhouse of antioxidants. Carefully crafted using traditional methods, the leaves are de-stemmed and de-veined before being stone-ground into a fine powder—ensuring a smooth, clean-tasting matcha with no bitterness or grit.

Packed with catechins and L-theanine, this matcha supports energy, focus, and overall wellness. Perfect for daily tea rituals, lattes, or culinary creations, it strikes the ideal balance between quality and versatility.

Whether you’re whisking it into a frothy cup or blending it into smoothies and baked goods, this bulk-grade matcha delivers an authentic, earthy flavour and rich nutritional benefits in every scoop.

Ideal for:

  • Daily energy and focus
  • Antioxidant support
  • Mindful rituals and wellness
  • Detox and metabolism
  • Culinary application

Benefits

Not only is our Japanese Matcha Green Tea delicious, it may also:

High in Antioxidants (Especially EGCG)

Matcha is loaded with powerful antioxidants, particularly EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which help neutralise free radicals in the body. This supports overall cell health and may slow signs of aging.

Natural Energy Boost Without the Crash

Matcha delivers a gentle caffeine kick—enough to wake you up without the jitters. Thanks to its natural L-theanine content, the energy release is smooth and sustained, not sharp or crash-prone like coffee.

Supports Metabolism and Weight Management

Matcha can help your body burn fat more efficiently by boosting thermogenesis (the rate at which you burn calories). It’s often used in weight management routines for its ability to reduce cravings and support fat oxidation during exercise.

Enhances Focus and Mental Clarity

The combination of caffeine and L-theanine in matcha sharpens concentration and helps you stay focused for longer. It promotes a calm, alert state of mind—perfect for work, study, or mindfulness.

Promotes Heart Health

Matcha may contribute to healthier cholesterol levels by lowering bad (LDL) cholesterol and supporting good (HDL) cholesterol. It can also help regulate blood pressure and improve circulation, reducing the risk of heart disease.

Detoxifies the Body

Thanks to its high chlorophyll content, matcha naturally supports the body’s detox process. It may help eliminate heavy metals and other toxins, especially when included as part of a balanced diet.

Strengthens Immunity

Packed with catechins, vitamins, and antimicrobial properties, matcha helps your immune system defend against bacteria and viruses. Regular consumption may help reduce your chances of seasonal illness.

Helps Regulate Blood Sugar

Some studies suggest matcha may help balance blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. This makes it a supportive choice for those managing blood sugar fluctuations or type 2 diabetes.

Supports Healthy Skin

With its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, matcha can help calm skin irritation and fight signs of premature aging. It also supports collagen production, contributing to clearer, more radiant skin.

Instructions

1. Boil Fresh, Filtered Water

Start with fresh, filtered water for the best taste. Bring the water to the boil and then let cool to 80°C (2-3 minutes). Do not use boiling water as it can make the tea taste bitter.

2. Measure the Tea

Use 1 teaspoon (2g) per 100 ml of water. Adjust to suit your taste.

3. Add small amount of water

Add a small amount of hot water, enough to mix the powder into a paste.

4. Whisk the powder

Use a whisk (chasen) to whisk the tea in a "W" or zig zag motion until frothy, approximately 30 seconds.

5. Add remaining water

Add the remaining water to the frothy mixture and enjoy.
