Built on organic chocolate shells, this caffeine-free infusion brings together soft chocolate warmth, liquorice sweetness, ginger, anise, fennel, cassia, cloves, black pepper and a gentle touch of chilli for a rounded, warming finish. The supplier lists the blend as caffeine-free with these ingredients and recommends brewing at 100°C for 5 minutes.

It is sweet, spicy and beautifully layered, with enough richness to feel like a winter treat while still keeping the clean, botanical character of loose leaf tea.

Instructions

1. Boil fresh water

Start by boiling fresh, filtered water.

2. Measure the chai

Use about 1 tablespoon of chocolate chai for every 200ml of water.

3. Steep the tea

Pour the boiled water over the chai in your cup or teapot. Let it steep for 5 minutes for full flavor.

4. Optional Add-ins

Add some maple syrup and milk for a creamier sweeter treat.

5. Enjoy!

Once steeped to your liking, strain out the chai. Sip and enjoy the warming flavours.
