Description
Sourced from Japan, our Organic Japanese Matcha Tea is a finely milled green tea powder crafted using traditional methods. Young tea leaves are carefully de-stemmed and de-veined before being stone-ground into a vibrant green powder, resulting in a smooth, clean matcha with a refined texture and expressive flavour.
When whisked with warm water, this matcha creates a rich, velvety infusion with a bold vegetal character. The flavour opens with a fresh, grassy sharpness, unfolding into a rounded sweetness and gentle astringency that lingers on the palate. Its concentrated nature delivers depth and intensity while remaining balanced and smooth when properly prepared.
Highly versatile, this matcha can be enjoyed traditionally as a whisked tea or incorporated into lattes, smoothies and culinary creations. Its flavour softens beautifully when blended with milk or used in baking, sauces or desserts, making it a flexible staple for both tea rituals and creative kitchens.
Offering excellent value at approximately 100 cups per 100 g, this bulk-grade matcha is well suited to regular use. Whether enjoyed simply or explored in recipes, it brings colour, flavour and craftsmanship to every cup.
Available in 50 g and 100 g pouches, with premium culinary and ceremonial grades available on request.
