Instructions

1. Boil Fresh, Filtered Water

Start by boiling fresh, filtered water. It's important to use fresh water to preserve the tea's delicate flavors.

2. Heat the Water to the Right Temperature

Since Sencha is a green tea, it’s best to avoid boiling water. Heat the water to about 85°C, just below boiling. If the water is too hot, it may make the tea taste bitter.

3. Measure the Tea

Use 0.5-1 teaspoon of Sencha Lemongrass Ginger Tea per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.

4. Steep the Tea

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves or tea bag. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes. This will allow the tea to release its flavors without becoming too strong or bitter.

5. Optional Add-ins

Honey: If you like a touch of sweetness, add a little honey or your preferred sweetener.
Lemon: A slice of lemon can add a refreshing citrus twist, enhancing the flavors of lemongrass and ginger.

6. Strain & Enjoy

Once your tea has steeped to your desired strength, remove the tea bag or strain the loose leaves. Relax and enjoy your perfectly balanced, soothing cup of Sencha Lemongrass Ginger Tea.

For an iced version, simply let the tea cool to room temperature, then pour it over ice for a refreshing treat.
