Description
Decaf Black Tea – Full Leaf
Origin: India
Enjoy the comfort of a classic black tea, without the caffeine. Our Certified Organic Decaffeinated Black Tea is made from full leaf black tea and decaffeinated using the natural CO₂ method—preserving the tea’s health benefits and smooth character without the need for chemicals.
This process gently removes caffeine while maintaining the integrity of the tea leaf, making it ideal for those who love a light, mellow black tea at any time of day. With no bitterness and a clean finish, it’s perfect for your evening wind-down or as a gentle companion to your morning routine.
Due to the organic CO₂ decaffeination method, the flavour is naturally milder than traditional black tea. We recommend steeping for at least 10 minutes to bring out its best qualities. If you're after a bold, robust brew, this may not be the tea for you—but if you seek calm, clarity, and a clean cup, you’ve met your match.
Ideal for those who enjoy black tea and want to reduce their caffeine intake.
Ideal for:
- A naturally processed, organic option
- Reducing caffeine without compromising on quality
- A gentle brew that's easy on the stomach and mind
Benefits
Not only is our decaf Black tea delicious, it may also help with:
Nervous System Sensitivities
Supporting Heart Health
Rich in Antioxidants
Decaffeinated black tea still retains many polyphenols (like theaflavins), which help combat oxidative stress and may lower the risk of chronic diseases.
Better Sleep and Relaxation
Without the stimulating effect of caffeine, decaf black tea is a soothing evening beverage that won’t interfere with sleep patterns.
Improved Hydration
Decaf tea contributes to fluid intake without the diuretic effect that high-caffeine drinks can have, helping with overall hydration.
Digestive Support
The tannins in black tea can help soothe the digestive tract, and with no caffeine, it’s gentler on sensitive stomachs.
Oral Health Benefits
Compounds in black tea (like catechins and fluoride) support gum and dental health by reducing bacteria and plaque formation.
