Benefits

Not only is our decaf organic Green tea delicious, it may also help with:

Caffeine-Free Calm

Decaf green tea offers all the goodness of green tea without the caffeine jitters—ideal for evenings, sensitive stomachs, or caffeine-sensitive individuals.

Rich in Antioxidants

Even without caffeine, it retains powerful antioxidants like catechins and polyphenols that help fight free radicals and support cellular health.

Supports Heart Health

Green tea compounds may help lower cholesterol and improve blood flow, contributing to better cardiovascular health—even in decaf form.

Gentle on the Digestive System

With less caffeine to stimulate acid production, decaf green tea is easier on the gut, making it a suitable option for those with digestive sensitivities.

Aids in Hydration

A refreshing and hydrating beverage that supports daily fluid intake, without the dehydrating effects of caffeine.

Promotes Relaxation

Naturally calming and non-stimulating, decaf green tea can be part of a relaxing bedtime routine or mindful moment during the day.

Supports Brain Health

Contains L-theanine and other beneficial compounds that may help with focus, clarity, and long-term cognitive function—without the buzz.

Weight Management Support

Green tea may gently support metabolism and fat oxidation; while the effects are milder in decaf, it can still complement a healthy lifestyle.

Safe for a Broader Audience

Suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding people, children, and those limiting caffeine for health or lifestyle reasons.

Instructions

1. Boil fresh water

Start by boiling fresh, filtered water. Fresh water helps to extract the full flavour and aroma from the tea leaves.

2. Measure the tea

Use about 1 teaspoon of loose tea leaves per 240 ml of water.

3. Steep the tea

Once the water is boiling, pour it over the tea leaves in your cup or teapot. Let it steep for 10 minutes.   Decaffeinated tea products are naturally milder in taste as compared to regular teas.  This is a side affect of the organic CO2 decaffeination process and will require a longer steeping time.

4. Optional Add-ins

1. Boil fresh, filtered water

Start with fresh, filtered water. Avoid using water that's been sitting around for too long, as it may affect the tea's flavor.

2. Heat the Water to the Right Temperature

Green tea leaves are sensitive to high temperatures. Heat the water to 80°C, just below boiling. Too hot, and the tea will become bitter; too cool, and it won’t extract its full flavor.

3. Measure the tea

Use about 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea leaves per 240ml of water.

3. Steep the tea

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let it steep for 5 minutes. Green tea is best when steeped for a short time to prevent bitterness. You can experiment with steeping times to find your ideal balance of flavor.

4. Optional Add-ins

Decaf green tea is delicious on its own, but if you prefer, you can add:

Lemon: A slice of lemon can enhance the freshness.
Honey or Stevia: For a touch of sweetness.

5. Enjoy!

After steeping, strain the leaves, and enjoy the gentle, grassy flavor of your decaf Green Tea.
