Description

Sourced from Egypt, our Organic Hibiscus Tea is crafted from carefully dried hibiscus flower petals (Hibiscus sabdariffa), selected for their vivid colour and bold, fruit-forward character. Naturally caffeine-free and minimally processed, this single-ingredient herbal tea brews to a striking ruby-red infusion with a clean, vibrant aroma.

Each cup delivers a bright, tangy flavour reminiscent of cranberry and citrus, balanced by a smooth, refreshing finish. Full-bodied and expressive without being heavy, hibiscus offers a lively palate experience that feels crisp and thirst-quenching, whether enjoyed warm or chilled over ice.

This versatile herbal tea shines in many forms — brewed hot for a bold, warming cup or iced for a refreshing summer infusion. Its naturally tart profile pairs beautifully with a touch of sweetness or fresh fruit, making it a favourite for creative tea moments and relaxed sipping alike.

Offering excellent value at approximately 50 cups per 100 g, this is a tea you’ll reach for whenever you want colour, flavour and brightness in the cup. Enjoy it on its own, sweetened lightly with honey or maple syrup, or lifted with citrus wheels, berries or tropical fruit for a vibrant iced brew.

Available in 50 g and 100 g pouches, this bold herbal classic brings colour, clarity and freshness to your everyday tea ritual.

Instructions

1. Boil fresh water

Start by boiling fresh, filtered water. Fresh water ensures the best flavor and allows the hibiscus flowers to fully infuse their tangy, citrus-like taste.

2. Measure the tea

Use about 1 tablespoon of dried hibiscus flowers for every 8 oz (240 ml) of water.

3. Steep the tea

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, pour it over the hibiscus flowers in your cup or teapot. Let it steep for 5 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger and more vibrant the flavour, so adjust based on your taste preferences.

4. Optional Add-ins

Honey or stevia can balance out the tartness with a touch of sweetness.
A squeeze of lemon or a few slices of ginger add a refreshing kick and boost the health benefits.
Mint or cinnamon can enhance the flavour profile, giving it a unique twist.

5. Enjoy!

Once your hibiscus tea has steeped to your liking, strain the flowers. You can enjoy it hot or let it cool and serve it iced for a refreshing, cooling drink.
